Swahid Jadav Nath Government Homoeopathic Medical College (SJNGHMC), located in Panjabari, Guwahati, is the newest government homoeopathic medical college in Assam, established to meet the growing demand for qualified homoeopathic practitioners in the region. Named in honor of Swahid Jadav Nath, a martyr of the Assam Movement, the institution stands as a tribute to his sacrifice and dedication. Courses Offered
B.H.M.S. (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
- Duration: 5.5 years (4.5 years of academic study + 1 year internship)
- Annual Intake: 50 students
Eligibility Criteria
. 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (Science stream)
. Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC)
. Must qualify NEET-UG as per AYUSH and NCH norms
. Minimum age: 17 years on or before 31st December of the admission year
